1. Overview

ITKX Technologies respects your privacy and your right to control your personal data. If you have used our services through Facebook Login or other Facebook integrations, this page provides instructions on how to request the deletion of your data from our systems.

2. What Data We Collect via Facebook

When you connect with us through Facebook, we may collect the following information:

  • Your Facebook profile information (name, email, profile picture)
  • Public profile data you've authorized
  • Login timestamps and session information
  • Any data you've explicitly shared through our platform

Note: We only collect data that you explicitly authorize through Facebook's permission dialogs.

3. WhatsApp Messaging Data (WAPP Service)

If you use our WAPP (WhatsApp Business Messaging) service, we collect and store the following types of messaging data:

Data Types Collected:

  • Message Content: Text messages, media files, and document attachments
  • Contact Information: Phone numbers and contact names
  • Message Metadata: Timestamps, delivery status, and read receipts
  • Campaign Data: Template messages and automated response configurations
  • Analytics Data: Message performance metrics and engagement statistics

WhatsApp Data Retention Periods:

  • Active Messages: Stored for 90 days for delivery tracking and support
  • Message Templates: Retained while your WAPP account is active
  • Contact Lists: Stored until you request deletion or cancel service
  • Analytics Data: Anonymized metrics kept for up to 2 years for service improvement
  • Error Logs: Technical logs retained for 30 days for troubleshooting

Special Considerations for WhatsApp Data:

  • Encryption: All message data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption
  • WhatsApp API Compliance: Data handling follows WhatsApp Business API requirements
  • Backup Systems: Encrypted backups are maintained for disaster recovery (deleted within retention periods)
  • Third-Party Processing: Some data may be processed by WhatsApp/Meta as per their policies

Important: When you request deletion of WhatsApp messaging data, we will also notify WhatsApp/Meta to remove any data shared through their Business API, where technically feasible.

4. How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data through either of the following methods:

Method 1: Through Facebook

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings: Navigate to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites
  2. Find ITKX Technologies: Look for our app in your list of connected apps
  3. Remove the App: Click "Remove" and check the box "Delete posts, videos, and events from ITKX Technologies"
  4. Confirm Deletion: This will revoke our access and notify us to delete your data

Method 2: Direct Request to Us

  1. Send a Request: Email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
  2. Specify Data Type: Indicate if you want to delete Facebook data, WhatsApp/WAPP data, or all personal data
  3. Provide Information: Include your Facebook email, phone number (for WAPP), or account details
  4. Verification: We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the deletion
  5. Confirmation: We will confirm via email once your data has been deleted (typically within 30 days)

5. What Happens After Deletion

Once we receive your deletion request:

  • Within 48 hours: Your active user session will be terminated
  • Within 7 days: Your personal data will be removed from active systems
  • Within 30 days: Your data will be completely purged from our databases and backups
  • Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation once the process is complete

Important for WhatsApp/WAPP Users: Deletion of WAPP messaging data will also terminate your WhatsApp Business API access and remove all associated templates and configurations.

Important: Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you wish to use our services again, you will need to reconnect and re-authorize.

6. Data Retention Exceptions

Please note that we may retain certain information if:

  • Required by law or legal obligations
  • Necessary for fraud prevention or security purposes
  • Part of ongoing legal proceedings or disputes
  • Essential for legitimate business purposes (anonymized data for analytics)

Any retained data will be kept in compliance with applicable data protection regulations and will be anonymized where possible.

WhatsApp Data Retention Exceptions:

  • Compliance Records: Message logs may be retained for WhatsApp Business API compliance (up to 1 year)
  • Billing Records: Transaction records for WAPP service usage may be retained for tax purposes
  • Abuse Prevention: Anonymized data may be kept to prevent spam and abuse on the platform

In addition to data deletion, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data we hold
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Object: Object to processing of your data for specific purposes
